The Robot Automation Engineer will work on the development of automation projects assigned by the Supervisor.
This engineer will train the Robot Technicians in the new equipment that is being developed for their best performance, he will also train the new Technicians who enter the Robots Area.
It will also identify new applications of Robotics or Automatic Processes to simplify current processes.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define sensor, computing, network, and redundancy requirements.
•Work on automation projects, assigned by the person in charge of the Area.
•Identify new Automation applications to simplify current processes.
• Train robot technicians, set up and test robot automation cell.
• Record and report any behavioral or hardware issues arising from checks or tests.
• Document robotics test procedures and results.
• Prepare procedural documents.
• Design of documents or results of operational tests.
• Work on the list of parts or components of each machine that is in operation.
to maintain an inventory of maximum and minimum required.
• Develop, manufacture and order field support equipment.
• Contact the person in charge of the Area to facilitate the adjustment of the robot or the changes that need to be made.
• Edit and track robot programming.
• Assembly of prototypes and tests of new robots
• Corrective and Preventive Maintenance Program for Current Robots.
•Give support to the technicians of the Robot Area, in the current equipment that is in production.
• Training of new Technicians in the Robots Area
•Carry out the filling of the Matto Reports. preventive.
• Generate the Operating Procedures of each equipment that is under development before starting it up (Production).
•Work in developing teams that have all the security devices.
•Carry out the training plan for Operators and Technicians who will work with the new equipment that is being developed in the plant.
• PLC programming (Allen Bradley)
•Programming and configuration of robots (Fanuc, ABB)
• Carry out modifications and mechanical parts that improve the performance of the equipment.
• Realization of plans in Autocad and solidworks in 2D and 3D, for their elaboration in the Machining Workshop.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or career truncated (50% of the career) in Industrial, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics and Electromechanical Engineering
• Minimum experience of 2 years in the field.
• Experienced and trained in Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydraulic/Pneumatic.
• Experience & knowledge in Robot programming (option.)
• Experience in PLC and Driver Programming.
• Interpretation of electrical and electronic control schematics.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and pack office software.
• Intermediate level in technical and conversational English.
