We are looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator to support the execution and continuous improvement of the EHS strategy at a high-volume manufacturing operation in Acuña, Coahuila.
This position will play a key role in incident prevention, regulatory compliance, risk management and the development of a strong safety culture across the site.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily execution of Environmental, Health and Safety programs.
- Support compliance with Mexican legislation, applicable NOMs and internal standards.
- Follow up on incidents, investigations and corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate risk assessments, JSAs, work permits, inspections and audit routines.
- Support ergonomics, occupational health and risk-prevention initiatives.
- Coordinate EHS training and safety-culture activities across different shifts.
- Participate in management-of-change activities and operational projects.
- Support emergency response plans, drills and brigade readiness.
- Analyze EHS data and trends to identify preventive actions and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental, Chemical or Industrial Engineering, Environmental Sciences or a related field.
- At least five years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican EHS regulations and applicable NOMs.
- Experience with incident investigations, risk assessment tools and audits.
- Professional written and spoken English.
- Availability to work on-site in Acuña, Coahuila.
- Ability to support a multi-shift manufacturing operation.
