JOB SUMMARY:

 

As a key member of the Market Development and Performance (MD&P) team, the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Analyst plays a pivotal role in unlocking revenue opportunities and improving profitability across the organization. This position combines strategic analytics, trade promotion optimization, competitive intelligence, and annual planning to support enterprise-wide growth and performance initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of analytical acumen, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration experience to support data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced CPG environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Revenue Growth Management & Promotion Performance:

 

  • Lead the development of dashboards and reporting to assess trade performance and guide future promotional strategy for Kitchen Segment.

  • Configure pricing guardrails (e.g., national calendars, promotional thresholds, pricing waterfalls) aligned with strategic pricing initiatives.

  • Assist in the development of annual sales forecasts and trade promotion budgets in coordination with RGM and Finance teams.

  • Support the development of scalable RGM enablers, including data, systems, and processes across all routes to market.

  • Conduct post-promotion analysis to identify learnings and inform future planning.

 

Annual Planning & Trade Governance:

 

  • Drive the creation and communication of the National Promotion Calendar in partnership with brand and commercial strategy teams.

  • Categorize customers and products into planning cohorts and earn groups to support strategic forecasting.

  • Enforce systematic promotion guardrails and manage the process for exceptions and approvals.

  • Manage trade rate-setting frameworks, target setting, and trade fund allocations.

 

Competitive Intelligence & Market Insights:

 

  • Collaborate with brand, marketing, and product teams to identify market gaps and recommend competitive positioning strategies.

  • Analyze competitor activities, market trends, and consumer insights to uncover opportunities and inform strategic decisions.

  • Build and maintain a competitive intelligence network leveraging internal and external data sources.

 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • 2+ years relative Finance/Analyst/Trade Promotion/Competitive Intelligence experience preferably in CPG/retail.

  • Proficient in trade promotion systems (TPM/TPx), SAP, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Excel).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and cross-functionally.

  • Advanced storytelling skills with a track record of delivering compelling data-driven presentations.

  • Strong understanding of CPG industry dynamics, pricing strategies, and promotional planning.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
