Position Summary
As the Assistant Manager of Influencer Marketing and Social Engagement at Newell Brands, you will play a crucial role in supporting both our influencer marketing and social engagement initiatives across our diverse portfolio of brands. You will work closely with the wider team and collaborate with cross-functional partners to plan and execute effective campaigns that align with brand goals through strategic, creative creator partnerships, content creation, and content amplification.
In addition to influencer efforts, you will help manage and grow brand presence across key social platforms by assisting in the development of engagement strategies that foster community, encourage meaningful interactions, and amplify brand messaging.
Your contributions will be integral in driving brand affinity, expanding reach, and enhancing the overall impact of Newell’s digital marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying and researching potential influencers and content creators aligned with Newell Brands' brand values and target audiences.
- Liaise with brand and digital marketing teams to gather insights and information to effectively plan and execute campaigns
- Coordinate logistics for influencer partnerships, including product shipments, campaign timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor and track influencer campaign performance, providing regular updates and reports to evaluate effectiveness and ROI.
- Cultivate relationships with influencers and manage day-to-day communications for both influencer campaigns and social engagement/seeding opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging platforms, and competitor activities in influencer marketing and social media landscape.
- Social listen for trends to identify opportunities to authentically insert our brands into relevant conversations, identify consumer pain points and monitor for content and innovation inspiration for brands.
- Engage with consumers and brand fans online via community management, surprise and delight opportunities and user-generated content (UGC) curation to build brand affinity.
- Provide strategic social media guidance to brand teams to help drive content and creative that performs for each brand’s channel and resonates with target consumer. Schedule and deploy organic social media content on primary platforms for brands
- Assist in managing and collaborating with relevant agency partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in influencer marketing, social engagement, digital marketing, or related roles.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, influencer/social trends, and best practices.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically about the social media space
- Experience with influencer marketing and social platforms/tools preferred but not required (e.g., Sprinklr, AspireIQ, BazaarVoice, CreatorIQ, etc.).
