Crock-Pot® is the leader in slow cooking and one-pot meal solutions. For over 50 years the brand has helped consumers create convenient, flavorful meals at home. Today, Crock-Pot is expanding beyond traditional slow cooking through innovation, premium design, and new usage occasions across multiple and varying retail channels.
Position Summary:
The Associate Brand Manager will support the day-to-day management of the Crock-Pot business while helping deliver in-year results and supporting future innovation. This role partners closely with Sales, Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing to drive profitable growth and execute product launches across key retail partners including Walmart, Target, Amazon, and Club retailers. The role combines business analytics, portfolio management, and launch execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Performance & Analytics
- Conduct analysis to understand drivers of business performance and recommend actions to improve growth.
- Connect and analyze multiple data sources to identify business opportunities and risks.
- Monitor brand performance metrics, market trends, consumer feedback, and competitive activity.
- Develop reports and presentations communicating insights and recommendations to brand leadership.
- Analyze product velocity and identify risks related to distribution loss or declining performance.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for share gain.
- Evaluate share of shelf and identify opportunities for expanded distribution.
- Analyze retailer POS data (Mass, eCommerce, and Club channels) to identify pricing, promotion, and assortment opportunities.
Portfolio & Business Management
- Maintain product portfolio databases and assortment lists.
- Build and manage forecasting models supporting the annual business plan.
- Support development of demand forecasts and monitor forecast accuracy.
- Identify growth opportunities through data analysis and portfolio insights.
- Monitor portfolio productivity and recommend SKU optimization opportunities.
Retail & Customer Execution
- Partner with Sales and Customer Planning teams to prepare retailer presentations and joint business planning materials.
- Execute shipper and retail display programs.
- Lead simplification and optimization of shipper and display programs within the brand portfolio.
- Support retailer sell-in materials and seasonal merchandising programs across key retail partners.
Marketing & Brand Activation
- Support development of annual brand marketing and business plans.
- Support activation of advertising and marketing campaigns adapted from global assets.
- Assist with PR and brand communication initiatives.
- Write briefs for social media and digital marketing content.
- Partner with centralized teams to execute social media programs and content.
- Review media spending reports and track actual spend versus budget.
- Review marketing analytics and optimize future content and communication strategies.
Innovation & Product Launch Support
- Support cross-functional teams in executing product launches, including packaging, claims, and product materials.
- Assist with preparation of launch materials and internal presentations supporting new product introductions.
- Track competitive innovation and product launches to inform brand strategy.
Required Experience / Qualifications
- A four-year college degree, MBA preferred.
- 2+ years of prior experience in brand management, marketing, or product management within consumer goods preferred.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop insights.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, written and oral.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing analytics tools.
- Up to 10% travel potential.
- Fluent in English.
