Position Overview:
The Coordinator, Stylemaster (Master Art / On-Product Artwork) plays a critical role in supporting Newell Brands’ strategic business units by coordinating the development, production, and delivery of on product artwork across product lines. This includes on-product graphics, control panels, labeling, and color specifications for both new product development (NPD) and product line refreshes. Acting as a central point of coordination between Industrial Design, Marketing, Engineering, and external manufacturing partners, this role ensures artwork accuracy, consistency, and alignment with each brand’s Visual Design Language (VDL). The Coordinator is responsible for managing workflow, tracking timelines, and maintaining production art standards across all packaging and on-product graphic deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the creation, proofing, and release of on-product artwork, control panel graphics, labeling, and warning elements for multiple brands and product categories.
- Serve as the communication hub for project details — facilitating collaboration between Industrial Design, Marketing, Engineering, and suppliers to ensure clarity, accuracy, and timely execution.
- Support the maintenance and application of established Visual Design Languages (VDL) and artwork templates across all product lines.
- Assist in the development and rollout of new on-product artwork standards and style guides during product refreshes or brand updates.
- Track and manage project timelines, ensuring all milestones, reviews, and production deadlines are met.
- Administer artwork routing, approvals, and file version control through the established governance and asset management systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and pre-press partners to review proofs and confirm color accuracy and production feasibility.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of workflow processes, identifying efficiencies in artwork delivery and governance.
- Maintain accurate documentation, archive final production files, and support file delivery to vendors, printers, or internal systems.
- Perform additional coordination tasks as required to support the Stylemaster and Design Operations functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1–2 years of experience in a relevant role
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and resourceful
- Proactive problem-solver with a positive, "can-do" attitude
- Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Strong independent work ethic and team collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and information-gathering abilities
- Understanding of design and creative production processes
- Strong workflow management and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in Office 365; familiarity with Workfront or similar project management software is a plus
