GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:
The EFO & Reliability Engineer is responsible for providing a fleet approach managing maintenance and asset data sets across the Newell manufacturing portfolio. This position is highly visible and will work with all levels of employees across the organization. The key objective of the engineer is driving uniformity by tool standardization and training ensuring quality, usable reliability data, and providing meaningful visuals to users.
This position will work closely with EFO and Reliability Managers to define CMMS software standards and train end users across the organization for PM optimization, Spare Parts administrations, and asset status and function. This role will also play a proactive role in analyzing data trends and identifying data quality issues that impact current business requirements within sites, ensuring the organization of data is positioned to make informed, forward-looking decisions.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Drive uniformity of maintenance software implementations across the business
- Interact with multiple disciplines across the organization from maintenance techs to senior leadership
- Manage software implementations and gauge the success of those implementations
- Ability to manage and interact with global teams to achieve results
- Strong leadership and communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Self-starter and possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders and levels of the organization.
- Admin level knowledge of a CMMS system with the ability to train others
- SQL database operation and querying
- Python development for data merging and processing
- PowerBI development for use in day-to-day operations
- Travel estimated up to 50% of time
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an Engineering or Computer Science discipline.
- 3-5 years experience with managing software solutions and training people to use those solutions
- Consumer Products Industry / Automotive Experience preferred.
