Position Summary

 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Global Supply Network Planning Manager to lead supply planning efforts for the Expo and Elmer’s Brands.  This role is responsible for developing and executing supply plans that ensure product availability, optimize inventory, and support global business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration experience, and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics within a branded product environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Supply Planning: Oversee global supply plans specific to the internally manufactured products, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts, production capabilities, and market requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels across global regions to support service level targets while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
  • Capacity Coordination: Lead collaboration with manufacturing and procurement teams to ensure supply chain capacity meets brand growth and seasonal demand fluctuations.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee SKU lifecycle management, including product exits, dispositions, rework opportunities, and both ZFIN / ZSAS material status to maintain accurate inventory profiles and product line alignment.
  • Cross-functional Support: Partner with brand management, marketing, finance, manufacturing leadership, and regional planning teams to align supply strategies with business goals.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze supply chain data to identify risks, opportunities, and trends. Provide actionable insights through regular reporting and scenario planning.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve planning accuracy, system capabilities, and operational efficiency within the supply planning function.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve supply disruptions, ensuring continuity of product flow and customer satisfaction.
  • People Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply planning team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth.

 

Key Performance Metrics

 

  • Service Level Achievement: 95% of orders fulfilled on time
  • Inventory Turnover: Develop and achieve inventory turnover for team to measure efficiency.
  • Capacity Utilization: Manufacturing capacity effectively used and prebuild requirements identified and monitored monthly
  • Schedule Adherence: 82% of planned orders executed within the scheduled month.
  • Inventory Health: Ratio of productive vs. non-productive inventory.
  • Lead Time Reduction: Improvement in end-to-end supply lead times.
  • Cost-to-Serve: Total cost of delivering products to customers.
  • Innovation Launch: Executed on-time with 98% of orders fulfilled on time.
  • Portfolio Management: Achieve targeted YE Active SKU count, as well as, exiting identified SKUs by target date

 

Key Skills & Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in supply planning or related roles, preferably within a global, branded product environment.
  • Experience with planning tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis, Oracle).
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage complexity and change in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% annually, potentially including international locations.
