Position Title:    Manager, Enterprise Data Standards & Domain Execution

Location:            Atlanta, GA

Reports to:        Director, AI Delivery & Data Standards

The Manager, Enterprise Data Standards & Domain Execution leads execution of enterprise data standards across assigned data domains by driving accountability, transparency, business rule alignment, data quality monitoring, and remediation coordination. This role partners with business owners, domain leads, data governance, IT, and technical teams to ensure standards are consistently applied, while business data owners retain accountability for data quality, business decisions, and outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities

Support the implementation and sustainment of enterprise data standards by translating standards into actionable domain-level execution plans, facilitating business rule documentation, validating data quality reporting, and ensuring remediation actions are tracked through completion. The role may temporarily support domain leadership where business ownership gaps exist, but must establish clear exit criteria and transition accountability back to the appropriate business owner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise data standards execution across assigned domains
  • Translate enterprise data standards into actionable steps, business rules, and execution plans
  • Partner with business owners and domain leads to define completeness, accuracy, ownership, usage, and source-of-truth standards
  • Facilitate working sessions with domain stakeholders to document standards, decisions, open issues, and remediation actions
  • Confirm source-of-truth alignment and downstream usage requirements for scoped data fields
  • Track adherence to data standards and escalate gaps, ownership issues, or non-compliance
  • Coordinate identification of data quality issues and ensure remediation plans are assigned, monitored, and executed by business owners
  • Support development, validation, and ongoing use of data quality reporting, dashboards, and exception tracking
  • Confirm that dashboards, metrics, and reporting reflect real business data quality issues
  • Maintain visibility into domain performance, risks, blockers, ownership gaps, and execution status
  • Coordinate issue resolution across business, data governance, IT, and technical partners
  • Step in as temporary domain lead where business ownership is missing, with clear exit criteria and a transition plan
  • Prepare domain-level status updates, risks, decision asks, and escalation items for governance forums

Scope & Operating Model

  • This role drives standards execution, governance discipline, issue visibility, and cross-functional coordination
  • This role may temporarily support domain leadership when ownership gaps exist but does not serve as the permanent business owner
  • This role does not own technical solution design, data engineering remediation, system configuration, or dashboard development unless explicitly assigned

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, supply chain, information systems, data management, or related field
  • 5–7+ years of relevant experience in data, operations, governance, transformation, or program execution roles
  • Experience working across business, IT, data standards, and technical teams
  • Strong facilitation, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and cross-functional communication skills
  • Experience documenting business rules, decisions, open issues, and execution plans
  • Experience with SAP or similar enterprise systems
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, escalate blockers, and drive accountability without direct ownership of all execution activities
  • Experience supporting enterprise data standards, data quality, master data, or data standards initiatives
  • Experience with reporting validation, dashboard requirements, exception tracking, and data quality metrics
  • Experience in transformation, integration, ERP, or enterprise-wide operating model programs
  • Familiarity with source-of-truth alignment, downstream data usage, and domain-based data ownership models
  • Experience preparing status updates, risks, and decision asks for governance forums or senior leadership
