Senior Global Supply Network Planner – EXPO / Mr. Sketch

Location: Atlanta, GA

Reports To: Global Network Planning Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Supply Planner to support supply planning activities for the EXPO and Mr. Sketch brands within the Dry Erase, Wet Erase, and Youth Art categories. This role is responsible for executing supply plans, managing inventory, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure product availability and operational efficiency. While this position does not have direct reports, it plays a critical role in driving planning accuracy and supporting broader supply chain goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Plan Execution: Support the development and execution of supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and production schedules.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
  • Capacity Coordination: Collaborate with manufacturing and procurement teams to ensure supply readiness and resolve capacity constraints.
  • Cross-functional Support: Work closely with brand, demand planning, procurement, and regional teams to align supply activities with business needs.
  • Innovation: Support innovation and product launch activities by aligning supply plans with new product introductions and timelines.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee SKU lifecycle management, including product exits, dispositions, rework opportunities and both ZFIN / ZSAS material status to maintain accurate inventory profiles and product line alignment.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Prepare content and present to support decision-making within S&OP meetings.
  • Issue Resolution: Assist in resolving supply disruptions and delays, escalating issues as needed to maintain service levels.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving planning processes, system utilization, and operational efficiency.

Key Performance Metrics

  • Inventory Health: Ratio of productive vs. non-productive inventory.
  • Service Level Achievement: 95% of orders fulfilled on time
  • Supply Plan Adherence: 82% of planned orders executed within the scheduled month.
  • Capacity Utilization: Manufacturing capacity effectively used and prebuild requirements identified and monitored monthly
  • Portfolio Management: Achieve targeted YE Active SKU count, as well as, exiting identified SKUs by target date

 

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in supply planning or related roles, preferably within a branded product environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledgeable in advanced Microsoft Excel formulas and familiarity with ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis, Oracle).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and organizational skills.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 10% annually, potentially including international locations.
