Position Title: Senior Associate, Supply Chain Analytics — Business Intelligence & Data
Location: Atlanta, GA, United States
Reports to: Manager, Analytics — Business Intelligence & Data
Overview
As a Senior Analyst on the Analytics — Business Intelligence & Data team, you are the primary technical builder. You will design and maintain the pipelines, data models, and BI assets that power reporting and analytics across the business. This is a hands-on engineering role: you write code, build infrastructure, and own the quality and reliability of the data that business teams depend on. You will work closely with your manager to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and operate with a high degree of autonomy on day-to-day delivery. You bring both the depth to solve hard technical problems and the discipline to build things that are documented, maintainable, and production-ready. We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines and transformations that feed BI dashboards, reports, and analytics products, using Python and Azure-based tooling
- Develop, optimize, and document Power BI semantic models including data models, DAX measures, calculated columns, and row-level security
- Design and maintain ETL/ELT workflows that move and transform data across source systems, data lakes, and serving layers
- Monitor and triage data quality issues across pipelines and analytics assets, identifying root causes and implementing durable fixes
- Build and maintain reusable, version-controlled SQL and Python code for transformations, aggregations, and analytics-ready datasets
- Support the operationalization of machine learning and AI model outputs into dashboards and reporting tools
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical specifications
- Document data assets, pipeline logic, transformation rules, and semantic layer definitions to support governance and handoffs
- Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics engineering standards, tooling, and best practices within the team
You will work closely with: Manager of Analytics, AI Engineering, Data Science, IT, and business stakeholders across functions
Systems in use: Python, SQL, Azure, Power BI, Databricks, Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude
Key Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree in analytics, computer science, information systems, statistics, or a related field
- Strong hands-on experience with Python for data engineering and analytics tasks
- Proficiency in SQL including complex joins, window functions, aggregations, and query optimization
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and transformations in Azure cloud environments
- Proficiency in Power BI including data modeling, DAX, and report/dashboard development
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on technical deliverables with minimal oversight
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Your advantage:
- Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Azure Data Lake Storage
- Familiarity with analytics engineering practices such as dbt, medallion architecture, or version-controlled transformation workflows
- Exposure to MLOps or operationalizing data science outputs into production pipelines
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude to accelerate technical work
- Experience working in international matrix organizations
