Position Summary
The Sr. Brand Manager - Crock-Pot owns the brand's annual and multi-year growth agenda. This role translates consumer insight, category dynamics, and financial targets into a focused innovation, commercialization, and brand-building roadmap that drives near-term results and long-term growth. The role leads cross-functional execution across Marketing, Consumer Insights, R&D, Design, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Digital Commerce.
Role Scope
- Own the annual brand plan and 3-year roadmap for Crock-Pot, balancing short-term delivery with future growth.
- Lead a growing portfolio of innovation and commercialization projects, including active, pipeline, and gate-keeping work.
- Drive the brand's sales, gross margin, and market share performance through disciplined prioritization and decision-making.
- Build business cases for new product launches, line extensions, and adjacency opportunities with clear financial logic.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead annual brand planning and maintain the multi-year innovation roadmap aligned to brand growth targets.
- Prioritize and manage a large project funnel, including concept development, gate reviews, launch readiness, and post-launch tracking.
- Develop business cases for innovation, line extensions, and whitespace opportunities; include market sizing, consumer need, competitive context, and financial impact.
- Own brand performance analysis using POS, shipment, retailer, and consumer data; recommend actions to address gaps and unlock growth.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Planning to support joint business planning, customer presentations, and channel-specific growth plans.
- Drive omni-channel growth through improved packaging, claims, content, and shopability across retail and eCommerce.
- Support key seasonal moments and demand periods such as Crocktober, holiday, New Year, and Super Bowl with integrated plans.
- Work with Supply Chain and Procurement to improve speed to market, cost competitiveness, and launch feasibility.
- Lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders with clear, data-driven recommendations.
Success Measures
- Deliver against annual sales, gross margin, and share targets.
- Maintain a strong innovation pipeline and launch on time and in full.
- Improve forecast accuracy and convert short-term pressure into repeatable growth.
- Increase consumer relevance, retailer performance, and omni-channel execution quality.
- Support future growth by building a durable base of winning innovation and stronger portfolio management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in brand management, innovation, strategy, or related CPG/durables roles.
- Proven ability to lead consumer insight-driven growth plans and translate insights into action.
- Experience managing launches, pipeline prioritization, and cross-functional commercialization.
- Strong analytical skills with POS, shipment, Nielsen/IRI, or similar data tools.
- Ability to influence without authority and present to senior leadership with clarity and confidence.
