About the Role
Reporting to the Health, Safety & Environmental Manager, you will:
- Provide expert advice on health, safety, and wellness matters.
- Support managers and teams to meet regulatory compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement of health, safety systems, policies, and processes.
- Lead audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
- Champion wellness initiatives and employee engagement in safety practices.
- Facilitate training and coach leaders to embed best practice safety.
This is a hands-on role where you will partner with leaders and employees at all levels, ensuring that safety and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.
What you need to be successful
- A tertiary qualification in Health & Safety (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years’ experience in a Health & Safety advisory role, ideally in manufacturing, FMCG or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
- Experience in audits, investigations, reporting, and developing safety systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and coach.
- Experience in policy writing and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
