Your Role & Team in a Nutshell
As a Regional Sales Representative, you will be accountable for executing key accounts, delivering top-line sales revenue for the brands you represent. You will maximize the availability of our products in the appropriate customers consistent with our brand strategy with an emphasis on superior new product execution. You will also execute consumer and shopper driven strategies for their customers that enable Newell Brands to achieve best in class results.
We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Direct account management responsibility for assigned accounts,
- Prepare and execute annual budgets for the accounts,
- Day to day management of the promotional calendar: evaluation and course correction, leading the process for managing trade spending and pricing in conjunction with the management of the promotional calendar,
- Work with demand planning to develop accurate sales forecasts and achieve specified levels of forecast accuracy,
- Build customer relationships at the Assistant Buyer/Buyer level and facilitate connectivity in other functional areas including Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance, doing the same across internal Newell functions to enhance information sharing and decision making,
- Ensure proper reporting of sales activity performed,
- Develop relationships with listed accounts and potential customers,
- Occasional visits to supermarkets/hypermarkets in the area,
- Create a positive and successful team environment.
What You’ll Need
Minimum:
- Proven experience in sales in similar positions/industry (Understanding of negotiation techniques, experience with forecasting),
- Full Spanish Driver’s License,
- Fluent Spanish and communicative English,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex data in an organized manner,
- Self-motivation with a strong work ethic and exceptional drive for results,
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and assignments in autonomy.
