Sales Analyst – Club Channel
Location: Bentonville, Arkansas
About the role
The Sales Analyst plays a key role on Newell Brands' Club Channel team, turning Club Channel POS, Consumer Panel and syndicated data into clear, actionable insights that help our brands win at some of our most important customers. The role reports into Category Management and works closely with Sales and cross-functional teams across Newell.
What you'll do
- Turn Club Channel POS, Consumer Panel and syndicated data into clear insights and recommendations a broad audience can act on.
- Build the fact base for line reviews, joint business planning and forecasting — surfacing the category trends, gaps and risks that shape customer strategy.
- Measure the lift and ROI of promotions and new-item launches, and translate the results into clear next steps.
- Own and automate recurring reporting and sales scorecards across Excel, BI platforms and AI-powered tools, so the team works from numbers it can trust.
- Partner with Sales, Category Management and Supply Chain to connect insights to execution — from in-stock and fill-rate issues to promotional and innovation plans.
- Bring an outside-in view, tracking retail, category and shopper trends and flagging what they mean for our brands.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1-3 years of direct hands on-Retail/ CPG experience providing solutions in a large company. Omnichannel experience preferred.
- Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving instincts — you enjoy digging into a dataset to find the story it tells.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills — Excel for analysis (functions, formulas and pivot tables), plus PowerPoint and Word to turn findings into clear reports and presentations.
- A working grasp of business fundamentals, and the drive to build on it — for example, how promotions, pricing, margin and inventory affect the business.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to make data understandable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort collaborating across teams and adapting as priorities shift.
- Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in growing toward category management.
Nice to have (we'll help you build the rest)
- Experience pulling and working with Club Channel data through Unify (e.g., MADRID) — strongly preferred, but we'll train the right person.
- Exposure to retail or CPG, including omnichannel.
- Familiarity using POS and syndicated data alongside sources such as invoice, product margin and supply chain to build a fuller picture of the business.
- Exposure to financial concepts such as promotional lift, profitability and inventory levels.
- Understanding of analytical processes such as data management, forecasting and visualization.
