Job Summary:

 

The eCommerce Key Account Manager – Learning & Development (Baby) - is responsible for supporting the development and execution of a collaborative growth agenda between Newell Brands and Walmart. Successful candidates will work in collaboration with Market Development & Planning (MD&P), Marketing and the customer to develop sustainable growth strategies.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Partner with Omni Sales Leaders within Walmart & Newell to develop an omni-strategy and support the eCommerce pillars and activations

  • Develop and achieve e-originated sales penetration targets across the account responsibility.
  • Lead discussions with business segments on customer needs for Walmart eCommerce strategy (both 1P and 3P).
  • Develop an annual promotional plan (both 1P and 3P) with the cross-functional team and own digital execution with the customer.
  • Monitors the competitors’ brands and products as well as our market share, competitor market share, and target market share to understand shopper trends and opportunities and communicating to appropriate sales, MD&P and brand management
  • Use data, information systems, and metrics around financial, brand, and shopper trends to maximize market share, sales, and profits.
  • Work with media team to maximize Newell brands online share of voice for both search and display while hitting internal ROAS metrics.
  • Ensure content quality scores above 95% to help drive eCommerce conversion. Work with Omni Enablement HQ teams to develop new content to increase on-site conversion and reduce nil pick rates.
  • Build customer relationships in tandem with the Segment sales leads to be seen as best in class omni-partners.
  • Increase eCommerce competencies across Segment sales teams through continuous education, building frameworks and developing playbooks.
  • Deliver consumption, share and sales growth targets for Newell Brands within Retail.com for Walmart.
  • Manage trade funds to create customer and company value by consistently measuring and enforcing trade terms and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage our brands and product mix to improve profitability and meet customer, shopper, and Newell Brands targets
  • Supports the execution of annual Innovation Summits, development and delivery of customer Joint Business Plans, and successful execution of annual Line Reviews at the category level.
  • Participates in the monthly Customer Business Review with Segment and Enterprise Leadership, highlighting risks and opportunities to annual operating plan and customer JBP. 
  • Networks and builds strong relationships with key customer decision makers and key internal stakeholders.
  • Externally advocates for the Newell business and internally advocates for the customer.
  • Leverage category development management, customer planning, commercial finance, and customer supply chain resources in the development and activation of customer category business plans.
  • Analyze business trends and ideates on ways to drive the business – collaborates with cross functional team on the tactics
  • Present plans, recommendations, initiatives to customer to gain approval

Key Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or similar field, MBA is a plus
  • Minimum 5+ years of direct and hands-on experience in sales and/ or channel marketing
  • Minimum 3 years eCommerce experience. Prior eCommerce experience with Walmart.com and Walmart Seller Center preferred
  • Experience working in a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), Fast-Moving Consumer Good (FMCG) and/or consumer durables industry strongly preferred
  • Ability to analyze syndicated data
  • History of setting and delivering a growth agenda
  • Experience developing and managing trade budgets
  • History of negotiating complex business deals that provide value to all parties
  • Ability to operate independently given direction, and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised
  • Ability to analyze and assess organizational needs and provide solutions accordingly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to present data in an organized manner to different levels of the organization
  • Strong project planning, tracking & organizing skills
  • Ability to build relationships and navigate a matrixed organization
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce desired tangible outcomes within tight timeframes
  • Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time
