About the role: 

The Graphic Designer is responsible for the design and development of assets including brand identity, product packaging and brand materials (including internal, customer and consumer facing). These design assets comprise of a variety of media including packaging, web, point of sale, outdoor and digital with local development and global adaptations. You will be responsible for delivering creative briefs in line with business objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years professional experience in graphic design within a corporate environment
  • Experience and exposure working within a global organisation
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Expertise in using Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animation
  • Impressive understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout composition
  • Excellent time management, problem solving and organisation skills
  • Ability to assimilate new ideas including product concepts and technologies
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience with Trello or other web-based time management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & implement brand guidelines and sales tools for localised brands
  • Effectively manage briefs and design outputs across ANZ Newell Brands
  • Lead local campaign creative projects for multiple brands and adapt global creatives
  • A deep understanding of brand identity and the ability to translate brand guidelines into visually captivating designs
  • Professional approach to tasks relating to rendering in-store displays and point of sale concepts
  • Openly collaborate with brand marketing teams on photoshoots including styling, creative direction, and retouching photos
  • Develop creative campaign collateral in conjunction with agency strategies
  • Budget management and tracking against agreed annual funds including monthly reconciliation
  • Foster a strong working relationship with internal customers to provide high quality designs for global output.
