We are looking for a Foreign Trade Analyst to join our team in Buenos Aires. This position will play a key role in the execution and follow-up of international trade operations, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with customs regulations, and effective coordination with customs brokers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and follow up on import and export operations.
- Prepare and validate invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, certificates of origin, licenses, and permits.
- Coordinate the timely submission of documentation to customs brokers and logistics partners.
- Track shipments from origin to destination.
- Update databases, operational controls, and ERP records.
- Monitor the performance of customs brokers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers.
- Review supplier invoices, freight costs, port-related services, and duty payments.
- Prepare monthly accruals and cash flow updates related to foreign trade operations.
- Support internal audits and requirements from regulatory authorities.
- Identify operational deviations or data inconsistencies and escalate them in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, or a related field.
- Experience in import/export operations, international logistics, or customs.
- Knowledge of Argentinian customs regulations, Incoterms, and non-tariff regulations and restrictions.
- Experience working with customs brokers and logistics providers.
- Intermediate English.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- SAP knowledge is preferred.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, problem-solving ability, and excellent attention to detail.
