Job Overview

The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for leading multiple districts to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence. This role sets strategic direction, drives execution, and fosters a culture of high performance and guest-centricity across all stores within the region.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead and mentor District Managers to build high-performing teams aligned with Newell Brand values.
  • Develop regional talent strategies including recruitment, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide strategic coaching and performance feedback to district leaders.

 

Sales Strategy & Guest Experience

  • Set and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of an exceptional guest experience across all districts.
  • Monitor and enhance execution of selling strategies, loyalty programs, and brand engagement.
  • Analyze guest feedback and regional KPIs to identify trends and opportunities.

 

Operational & Financial Oversight

  • Oversee regional performance, identifying trends and implementing strategic action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Manage regional payroll budgets, staffing models, and inventory optimization.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment with corporate goals.
  • Monitor and drive performance against KPIs and financial targets across districts.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of multi-unit retail leadership experience, including district or regional oversight.
  • Proven success in strategic planning, team development, and operational execution.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in retail systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to work in a fragrance-filled environment.

 

The Remote base pay range for this position is from $182,250 to $222,750. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.
