Your Role & Team in a Nutshell
As Brand Development Assistant Manager for the Floorcare category you will be at the heart of product innovation. Leading key initiatives, you´ll collaborate with R&D to develop new products and solutions based on in-depth customer research. Your role will span project management, concept validation and packaging (re)design ensuring that our products meet real consumer needs. You´ll coordinate exchanges with agencies, support financial assessments and craft compelling go-to-market strategies, bringing products to life and helping the category grow. We also have an intern in our team who will be reporting directly to you.
We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Analysis
- Co-build the annual category review by gathering and analyzing data across our markets (retail panel, consumer panel, trend reviews, online reviews, brand equity tracker...) and help the business identify new wins.
- Conduct portfolio analyses including research and make recommendations in SKU optimization (products to delete, renovate or extend to other markets), and pricing strategies.
Portfolio & RGM
- Implement renovations, cost reductions and packaging redesign based on validated research and consumer cases.
- Lead New Product Development (NPD) – work with R&D team; implement consumer research to secure the idea potential and best execution; build toolkits and selling stories and support regional and local teams in product launches. Track post launch performances and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the NPD pipeline - identify consumers´ unmet needs, benchmark competition launches and test new ideas.
Trade & Activation
- Lead the delivery of core creative assets for NPD’s (key visuals, online content, toolkits, photo library…) help local markets with execution.
- Support local markets in building best in class trade stories to expand distribution and in-store visibility for the category.
What You’ll Need
Minimum:
- Background in Marketing and Product development supported by relevant work experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, proactive mindest
- Ability to work transversally with multiple teams, geographies and stakeholders at different seniority levels
- Project management mindset – ability to track projects, remove obstacles and alleviate pain points, and think ahead and make recommendations and challenge stakeholders if needed
- Fluency in English and French
