Reports to: Supply Planning Lead

Job Summary:

In charge of production planning for MAPA SPONTEX factories, you will build the Master Production Schedules (MPS) of MAPA SPONTEX factories monthly and/or weekly, ensuring the right balance between customer demand and production capacities & constraints.

Responsibilities:

• Manage supply of finished goods to European Distribution centers (UK / FR / ES / IT / DE / CZ) while complying with inventory and service level objectives
• Manage allocation rules between products & customers when needed (priorities given by Management)
• Implement and follow Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Maintain technical data relevant to production planning (minimum run/MOQ, safety stocks etc.)
• Anticipate capacity issues, and alert management using SIOP processes (Sales Inventory & Operations Planning). Facilitate investment requests when needed.
• Establish and validate Master Production Schedules
• Prepare and animate the monthly Supply Review with factory management team.
• Formalize planning procedures, organize own backup, and backup other planners when needed
• Participate in relevant product lifecycle or other supply chain projects

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in business or engineering with a strong focus on Logistics/Supply Chain
• First professional experience in Supply chain highly desirable (supply planning, inventory management, demand planning…), internship can be classed as this experience if it has been done in a Production Planning role.
• Proficiency in both French & English.
• Knowledge of an ERP (e.g. SAP) / APS (Advanced Planning System, e.g. DSCP from Dynasys QAD, SAP APO)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel
