Shape the Future of Global Supply Planning
At Newell Brands, we are looking for a strategic, people-focused and results-driven Supply Planning Manager to lead our end-to-end supply planning operations across our manufacturing network and external supplier base worldwide.
In this highly visible leadership role, you will oversee supply planning for 7 factories and approximately 60 external suppliers across the globe, ensuring the right products are available at the right time while balancing customer service, inventory, capacity and cost.
You will manage a talented team of 12 Supply Planners, play a key role in our S&OP process, and partner with senior leaders to drive operational excellence, business growth and supply chain transformation.

What You'll Be Doing
Lead and Inspire a High-Performing Team
- Develop, coach and mentor a team of 12 Supply Planners.
- Build a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Set clear objectives, KPIs and development plans to support team success.
- Drive talent development and succession planning.
- Champion planning excellence through process harmonization and best practices.
Drive Global Supply Planning Excellence
- Lead supply planning activities across manufacturing sites, co-packers and external suppliers worldwide.
- Ensure optimal product availability while meeting inventory and service objectives.
- Balance demand, supply and production capacity to support commercial growth.
- Identify risks proactively and implement mitigation plans to ensure business continuity.
- Challenge and influence manufacturing, procurement and supplier partners to improve responsiveness, efficiency and supply performance.
- Lead monthly Supply Reviews and contribute directly to executive S&OP discussions.
- Drive strategic supply chain projects and transformation initiatives across the organization.
Optimize Inventory Performance
- Manage inventory valued at approximately $50M.
- Define inventory policies and target stock levels aligned with business priorities.
- Monitor inventory performance and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Lead inventory reduction initiatives while protecting service levels.
- Balance customer satisfaction, working capital and operational constraints to deliver sustainable results.
What Makes You Successful
Experience & Expertise
- Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
- 8+ years of Supply Chain experience, including significant Supply Planning expertise.
- Proven experience leading and developing teams.
- Strong understanding of S&OP processes and modern planning methodologies.
- Experience operating within complex international manufacturing and supplier networks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Technical Skills
- Experience with SAP ECC, SAP APO and/or SAP IBP.
- Advanced Excel and strong data analysis capabilities.
- Knowledge of planning systems, KPIs and inventory optimization practices.
