The HR Generalist will provide comprehensive HR support across the Fishers and Muncie sites in Indiana. This role is critical to maintaining compliance, driving employee engagement, supporting talent acquisition, and executing HR operations aligned with strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

- Manage internal job postings, candidate screening, and offer letter coordination for factory hourly roles.

- Oversee onboarding logistics and local HR systems (SuccessFactors, Fieldglass, Workforce).

- Track internal movement and backfill needs using HR dashboards and trackers.

Employee Relations & Case Management

- Investigate and resolve employee relations issues including attendance and interpersonal conflicts.

- Administer corrective actions, terminations, and unemployment claims.

- Maintain documentation for compliance and legal review.

Training & Development

- Partner with operations to maintain the hourly employee training matrix

- Support leadership development and HR training initiatives.

Compliance & Safety

- Ensure readiness for government inspections and internal audits.

- Collaborate with Safety Manager on injury/illness documentation and reporting.

HR Operations & Reporting

- Maintain attendance and disciplinary tracking systems.

- Support headcount planning, merit cycle adjustments, and factory hourly performance management.

- Manage system access requests and HRIS updates.

Culture & Recognition

- Promote employee engagement through recognition programs and culture-building initiatives.

- Participate in site safety (SEAL) and continuous improvement (PEAK) initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.

- 1+ year of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.

- Proficiency in HRIS systems (SuccessFactors, Fieldglass, Workforce).

- Strong interpersonal, investigative, and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities across locations.

Preferred Certifications:

- SHRM-CP or PHR certification (or actively pursuing).
