The Truck Driver will transfer finished goods and relocate trailers as needed to facilitate the receiving and shipping activities in our Fishers, IN location. This position is required to maintain communications associated with the activities of a warehousing shift.

Specific Responsibilities:
•    Performs daily inspection on tractor-trailer combination and assigned forklift.
•    Transports finished product, materials, and trailers to and from the warehouse and production facilities. Ensures that BOL's, and or transfer summaries accompany freight shipments whenever moving product or materials
•    Observes all Federal, State and Company Safety and Traffic rules and regulations and acts at all times in a manner consistent with reinforcing the positive reputation of Jarden in the community.
•    Operates equipment efficiently as instructed by Warehouse Manager. Maintains tractor/trailer in neat, orderly, and operational condition. Contributes to plant cost reduction effort.
•    Maintains effective communication with Warehouse Manager and Supervisors, relaying appropriate information. Maintains effective lateral communications with others whose work affects that of his/her shift.
•    Reports any grievances or potential conflict that may affect the overall performance of his/her shift.
•    Maintains an accurate accounting of his ordered daily activities, updates daily required forms and reports.
•    Overtime as needed. Adhere to all Safety Rules and Regulations, and assume additional duties as required by Supervisor.
•    Requires regular attendance to perform essential elements as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work.
•    Performs such individual assignments as the Warehouse Manager may direct.
•    Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the Department, the Company, the Corporation and the community; and maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.

Key Qualifications:
•    High School Diploma or equivalent
•    2 years of related experience
•    Class A CDL License Required
•    Strong communication, with all levels of the organization
•    Completes task with a sense of urgency
•    Good listening, teamwork, and attention to detail
•    Reliable with patience and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Forklift Operator’s License

Physical Requirements:
•    Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
•    Working in inclement weather
•    Some weekends and overtime required
