Your Role & Team in a Nutshell

As a Senior Finance Analyst at our Yankee Candle production site in Havran, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial accuracy and efficiency of our supply chain operations. You´ll ensure compliance with SOX and US GAAP standards, drive cost analysis and support leadership with data-driven insights that help optimize our productions and meet our financial goals.

We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Costing: Independently manage yearly standard cost set-up of individual items in SAP, including narrative & reconciliation to prior version; perform item maintenance and calculate new project costs scenarios
• Reporting & Analysis for manufacturing, logistics and materials
  • Regular and ad-hoc reporting for manufacturing variance, scrap and other main P&L drives and KPIs
  • Creation of new KPIs based on need to drive continuous improvement
• Inventory and stock count process
  • Manage yearly stock processes in alignment with internal policies and statutory and legal requirements
  • Manage E&O revision and create provision, classification and inventory reconciliation
  • Support and drive cycle counts as needed; maintain cycle count audit program
• Forecasting and Budgeting, including yearly budget for P&L areas across manufacturing, logistics and material variances
• Accounting and month-end closing
  • prepare and load journal entries, analysis and balance sheet reconciliations, including InterCo agreements
  • manage required documentation for statutory and tax audit in collaboration with external parners
• Support Process Improvement initiatives

What You’ll Need

Minimum:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience
• Demonstrable experience in similar position
• Fluent English
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and adaptability
