The Assistant Manager, Retail Media will support the creation, execution, and optimization of retail media campaigns with Office Depot, Staples, and other office supply retailers. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams and retail partners to ensure campaigns align with business goals and deliver measurable results.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, strong organizational skills, and an eagerness to learn and grow in the dynamic world of retail media.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing retail media campaigns across platforms associated with Office Depot and Staples, including sponsored search, display ads and other retailer-specific advertising tools.
  • Ensure campaigns are aligned with overall brand strategies and promotional calendars.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to support development of creative assets and messaging that resonate with target audiences.
  • Track campaign performance metrics, including impressions, clicks, conversion rates, ROAS and sales lift and ensure campaigns are meeting objectives.
  • Provide recommendations for adjustments to targeting, budgets, and creative assets to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with retail partners to test and implement new ad formats and strategies.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing, Sales and others to align retail media campaigns with broader marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Generate reports on campaign performance, highlighting key trends and actionable insights.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for growth and optimization across retail media platforms.
  • Share learnings and best practices with internal teams to inform future strategies.

  • Stay up to date on changes to retail media platforms, tools, and best practices for Office Depot, Staples and other office supply retailers.
  • Proactively research industry trends and competitive activity to identify new opportunities for innovation.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, retail media, or a related role.
  • Experience working with Office Depot, Staples, or other office supply retailers is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Familiarity with retail media platforms and tactics, such as sponsored search, display advertising, and audience targeting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other reporting tools; experience with retail advertising platforms is a plus.
  • Interest in and understanding of the office supplies and writing categories is highly desirable.
