The CRM Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution and optimization of omni-channel CRM campaigns across Email, SMS, and Direct Mail. This role owns campaign setup, segmentation, calendars, testing, and performance analysis to drive retention, repeat purchase, and customer lifetime value.
The ideal candidate is highly executional, detail-oriented, and analytically strong, with hands-on experience building campaigns, managing complex workflows, and optimizing performance in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Execution & Management
- Build, launch, and optimize Email, SMS, and Direct Mail campaigns, including promotional, triggered, and lifecycle communications.
- Own CRM calendars across channels, ensuring accurate setup, timing, audience selection, and suppression logic.
- Execute audience segmentation, exclusions, and suppressions to manage contact frequency and protect the customer experience.
- QA campaigns end-to-end, including data, links, creative, personalization, and timing, to ensure accurate and timely deployment.
- Ensure deliverability and compliance across Email and SMS, including consent validation, unsubscribe logic, suppression lists, and adherence to CCPA, GDPR, and CAN-SPAM requirements.
Segmentation & Targeting
- Develop and maintain customer segments based on purchase behavior, engagement, lifecycle stage, and loyalty status.
- Apply targeting logic to support retention, loyalty, and reactivation initiatives.
- Partner with Analytics and Martech teams to enhance data-driven targeting and personalization capabilities.
Testing & Optimization
- Execute A/B tests across subject lines, messaging, creative, cadence, and offers within Email, SMS, and Direct Mail.
- Analyze test results to identify winning approaches and scale learnings across future campaigns.
- Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance trends, customer behavior, and engagement signals.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor campaign performance across key metrics including opens, clicks, conversions, revenue, response rates, and ROI.
- Compile performance summaries, insights, and recommendations to support optimization and stakeholder reporting.
- Identify executional opportunities to improve efficiency, engagement, and revenue contribution.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Creative, Brand, Retail, Merchandising, Analytics, and Martech teams to execute campaigns as planned.
- Coordinate asset handoffs, timelines, approvals, and testing schedules to ensure on-time launches.
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to support execution across CRM channels.
Platform & Tool Management
- Execute campaigns within CRM platforms including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SMS platforms, and Direct Mail systems.
- Manage dynamic content and personalization using tools such as Movable Ink.
- Stay current on CRM best practices, platform capabilities, and executional enhancements to continuously improve workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience executing CRM campaigns across Email, SMS, and Direct Mail.
- Strong experience with campaign builds, segmentation, QA, testing, and deployment.
- Advanced Excel skills with comfort working in large datasets and performance reporting.
- Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Power BI.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Postie, Movable Ink, Attentive (or similar SMS platforms), and related CRM tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Clear communicator with strong organizational skills and follow-through.
