Overview

 

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Analytics to join our growing Analytics team and help us shape the future of analytics. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the analytics road mapping process, partnering with the VP of Analytics to drive the overall vision, annual plan on a page and key strategic projects. You will also work closely with a team of analysts and data scientists who will support you in delivering insights, recommendations and solutions to optimize our products, platforms and campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Analytics Product Management

  • Partner with the VP of Analytics to define and communicate the analytics strategy, vision, roadmap and success metrics aligned with the business objectives and priorities of the division.

  • Manage quarterly analytics roadmap process including implementing standard prioritization framework, developing executive level roadmap materials and compiling team wins

  • Lead development of eCommerce & Digital annual Plan on a Page, including coordinating team goal setting, and track progress updates throughout the year in partnership with the President, eCommerce & Digital and leadership team.

  • Lead content creation of eCommerce & Digital leadership presentations for Board of Directors, internal and external conferences and speaking engagements.

  • Identify and prioritize new opportunities for analytics innovation and improvement, leveraging best practices, industry trends and emerging technologies.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, such as product, engineering, marketing, sales, editorial and vendors.

  • Act as an internal consultant, leading strategic projects that address key business challenges and opportunities.

  • Assist in managing eCommerce & Digital leadership team goals and priorities – helping direct the decision making and serve as a sounding board for the leadership team

  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, based on data-driven analysis and experimentation.

 

Communication

 

  • Work with President, eCommerce & Digital and the eCommerce & Digital leadership team on key cross-functional projects. Some of these include:

  • Coordinating Now@Newell eCommerce & Digital communications plan.

  • Developing and deploying regular email newsletter of eCommerce & Digital Now@Newell and team / people updates.

  • Leading eCommerce & Digital All Hands meeting production including presentation coordination, content execution and administrative/IT coordination across the globe.

  • Leading external (Business Units) and internal communication of eCommerce & Digital strategy and progress updates.

  • Supporting operational tasks for eCommerce Leadership Team (ELT) meetings (i.e. weekly staff call).

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science or engineering.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in analytics, consulting, strategy or related fields, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic industry.

  • Preferred 3 years of experience in management consulting, or product management with proven skills in problem-solving, data storytelling, project management and stakeholder management.

  • Preferred experience with analytics tools and techniques, such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact analytics solutions that drive business growth and performance.

  • Passion for innovation, with a curiosity to learn and explore new ideas and technologies.
