As a Sales AI & Analytics Developer Intern, you will join the AI & Analytics team at Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP) and build AI-driven solutions that help our Sales, Pricing and Market Development & Planning teams work faster and smarter. You will work as a developer, partner directly with business teams and share your AI expertise to help the broader organization build its skills. Internship assignments will vary based on business needs and project priorities.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include:
- Designing, building and deploying AI-powered agents and automations using tools such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Automate.
- Developing analytics solutions and data pipelines using Python, SQL and Databricks, and delivering dashboards in Power BI.
- Partnering directly with Sales, Pricing and Market Development & Planning teams to understand business problems and turn them into working solutions.
- Testing, documenting and handing off what you build so the team can maintain and scale it.
- Researching and evaluating emerging AI tools and techniques, and recommending which are worth adopting.
- Presenting project progress and results to business stakeholders and senior leaders.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
- Demonstrated development experience in Python and SQL through coursework, internships, personal projects or open-source work.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI, including large language models, prompt engineering, APIs or agent frameworks.
- Familiarity with data platforms and visualization tools such as Databricks, Power BI or Excel.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and work comfortably with business teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative, with a record of taking a project from idea to working solution.
- A GitHub profile, portfolio or project examples are preferred.

Each intern will have a CAMP project that they lead from start to finish – at the end of the intern experience, they will present the project deliverable to a leadership panel. The output of each project will be utilized by the business team moving forward after the conclusion of the internship.
Additional Qualifications
- Completed Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year in undergraduate studies pertaining to internship job function
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Internship or work experience preferred
