POSITION SUMMARY:
The Associate Manager, Supply Chain will be a significant contributor to improving regional supply chain manufacturing and distribution efficiency and effectiveness to support delivery of annual productivity. Working across functions and sites, the analyst will provide reporting, analysis, and recommendations that help identify productivity opportunities, support monthly Supply Chain reporting and advance continuous improvement initiatives. Create and leverage digital and AI-enabled tools to make work easier, faster, and more effective across the supply chain.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting & Performance Insights
- Develop, maintain, and distribute recurring performance reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for stakeholders, including monthly Supply Chain reporting content.
- Provide analytical support for manufacturing KPIs, balanced scorecards, leading indicators, and root cause analysis to improve performance visibility and actionability.
- Translate data into clear insights and recommendations for plant, regional, and functional leaders.
Productivity & Project Support
- Identify and support execution of cost-out, continuous improvement, and productivity initiatives across manufacturing and distribution operations.
- Lead or support projects aligned with the Supply Chain Manufacturing Strategy, helping drive timing, alignment, and follow-through.
- Facilitate site productivity ideation sessions and help track initiative progress and value capture.
- Support creation and implementation of standardized process for delivering productivity across operations network.
Planning, Data & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Gather, interpret, and analyze relevant data including product costs, productivity metrics, demand trends, inventory positions, capacity, and financial results.
- Analyze demand, inventory, and capacity forecasts to support operational planning and prioritization.
- Partner across manufacturing, planning, finance, procurement, and distribution to identify opportunities and support execution.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Demanding, fast-paced role operating under deadline pressure, simultaneous deliverables, and changing priorities. The position works in a highly collaborative environment and requires effective communication with all levels of management, manufacturing sites, and cross-functional partners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, business management, or related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain, demand or supply planning, operations finance, manufacturing analysis, or a related role.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing and distribution operations, cost drivers, and supply chain processes.
- Experience managing projects, including budget awareness, timing alignment, and resource coordination.
- Analytical thinking for scenario development and advanced problem solving with skillset to support.
- Working knowledge of data analysis, forecasting tools, and statistical models that produce actionable insights.
- Advanced Microsoft skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, and Outlook.
- Exposure to Power BI and Tableau.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted working relationships.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% (as needed).
Preferred
- Experience in consumer products or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Experience using Power BI and Tableau, including the development of custom data visualizations and dashboards.
- Experience utilizing AI tools, agents, and data automation to improve reporting, analysis, and workflow efficiency.
- Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with SAP.
