Title: Analyst, Sourcing
Location: Huntersville, NC
Reports To: Associate Manager, Sourcing
Summary:
The Sourcing Analyst will be responsible for supporting procurement of all Packaging Commodity needs within their assigned business segment, striving to purchase at the best total cost and maintaining our standards of quality and service. Additional responsibilities will include supporting and participating in sourcing initiatives including productivity ideation, new product development (NPD), data gathering to support supplier performance metrics, on-going data management, etc.
Major Areas of Focus and Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sourcing Commodity teams to source materials that are on cost, on spec, and within expected lead time
- Participate in RFE/RFQ Process including new/current supplier assessment, NPD packaging development, productivity opportunities, etc.
- Understand key areas of use in SAP, manage current and future data within the system, be able to pull data for reporting purposes, and troubleshoot system and data issues as needed
- Participate as the Sourcing liaison in NPD project meetings to communicate costing, timing, supplier selection and capabilities to the cross functional teams
- Lead continued elevation and centralization of business processes through special projects meant to unify sourcing activities throughout the organization

- Ability to work both independently and on cross-functional teams
- Plans, organizes, and influences the efforts of domestic and global suppliers as well as a variety of functional groups (e.g. marketing, sales, supply chain) within the organization
- Strong organizational skillset and a basic understand of the principles of project management
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of applicable experience in Packaging, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or related fields
- Demonstrates expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI), basic experience in SAP a plus
- Approximately 5-10% travel required
