General Responsibilities:

 

The Senior Analyst, Brand Finance supports the Brand Management team by providing financial analysis, reporting, and business insights that support profitable growth and informed decision-making. This role is responsible for analyzing business performance, supporting financial planning processes, evaluating profitability, and assisting with innovation and pricing initiatives.

 

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively to cross-functional partners. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently on assigned projects, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with team members across the organization.

 

Duties Include:

  • Partner with Brand Management, Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to provide financial analysis and decision support for business initiatives.
  • Support the financial evaluation of innovation projects through profitability analysis, business case development, and post-launch performance tracking.
  • Participate in annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly estimate processes by preparing analyses and supporting business assumptions.
  • Conduct product, customer, and channel profitability analyses and communicate findings to support business decision-making.
  • Support pricing evaluations and provide financial analysis to assist with go-to-market strategies and profitability objectives.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using SAP, Power BI, Excel, and other financial systems.
  • Analyze advertising, promotional, and customer investment spending to support resource allocation and return-on-investment assessments.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for financial processes and reporting procedures to support consistency and accuracy.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and communicate findings to finance and cross-functional business partners.
  • Support the continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting tools, and planning methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • May provide guidance and support to less experienced team members on financial processes, reporting tools, and analytical methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Brand Finance, Commercial Finance, or a related analytical field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful business insights.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookup functions, data analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on assigned projects while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Brand Management, Sales, Marketing, or Commercial organizations.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Hyperion/Oracle planning tools, and Power BI.
  • Experience supporting forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, pricing analysis, or profitability analysis.
  • Experience supporting innovation commercialization and new product launches.
  • Understanding of financial statements and the relationship between business activities and financial performance.
