General Responsibilities:

The Senior Analyst, Brand Finance serves as a key financial business partner to the Brand Management team, providing strategic financial analysis and insights that drive profitable growth across the business. This role supports innovation initiatives, pricing strategy, forecasting, budgeting, customer and product profitability analysis, and overall brand strategy.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen and communication skills, enabling them to translate complex financial information into actionable recommendations. Success in this role requires collaboration across cross-functional teams, influencing decision-making, and delivering insights that support brand and commercial objectives.

 

Duties Include:

  • Partner with Brand Management, Marketing, Sales, and cross-functional teams to provide financial leadership and analytical support for strategic business initiatives.
  • Support financial evaluation and business case development for innovation projects, including profitability analysis and post-launch performance tracking.
  • Participate in the annual strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly estimate processes.
  • Analyze product, customer, and channel profitability to identify opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvement.
  • Provide pricing analysis and recommendations that support go-to-market strategies and profitability objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics using SAP, Power BI, and other financial systems.
  • Evaluate advertising, promotional, and customer investment programs to optimize return on investment and resource allocation.
  • Prepare business performance reporting and deliver actionable insights to leadership teams.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and present findings to senior and executive leadership in support of key business decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting tools, and planning methodologies.
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and scalability.

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Brand Finance, Commercial Finance, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookup formulas, and financial modeling.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and accountability.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Brand Management, Sales, or Commercial teams.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Hyperion/Oracle planning tools, and Power BI.
  • Experience with pricing strategy, profitability analysis, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Experience supporting innovation commercialization and new product launches.
