General Responsibility – Under moderate supervision, is accountable for the accuracy and completeness of inventory quantities in the warehouses and shop floor. Maintains and is responsible for PkMS and EMS reconciliations.
Job Duties/Essential Functions – Under moderate supervision, is accountable for the accuracy and completeness of inventory quantities in the warehouses and shop floor. Provides feedback to plant personnel as needed, focusing on material movement, production reporting, verification of production counts, production substitutions, and shipping and receiving procedures. Performs cycle counts on inventory as directed; performs weekly inventory accuracy tests. Tracks, reconciles, and resolves issues regarding materials and finished goods that carry negative balances (warehouse and workcenter), incorrect bin numbers (warehouse and workcenter), transitional inventory and inventory in received ‘status 10’. Periodically performs compliance tests and reports on Plan controls within the shipping, receiving and production areas. Recommends and assists in the implementation of new control procedures. Performs a periodic reconciliation of the PkMS and EMS systems (production reported to finished goods receipts). Performs shipping confirmation procedures, including resolution of issues noted; Performs production auditing procedures. Coordinates with shipping/receiving supervisors in resolving interplant shipping discrepancies. Posts production substitutions and scrap reports to the EMS system, as directed by Shop Floor Management. Under the direct of the Plant Controller, administers and manages the plant’s periodic physical inventory counts. Assists in maintaining a safe and healthy condition on company property to achieve the best working environment possible for all employees and visitors. Performs duties in compliance with company policies and procedures. Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with 1 to 3 years’ related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of a variety of office practices, operation of office equipment, such as computers, requiring some advanced skills knowledge. Knowledge of basic accounting required.
