Your Role & Team in a Nutshell

As a Sr. Manager, Brand Activation & Category Marketing, you will spearhead the creation of brand campaigns and trade marketing strategies for Home Care and Food & Beverages brands (Spontex, Sistema, Contigo). Your mission will be to amplify consumer interest and expand our market presence, drawing on a profound understanding of consumer behaviour, product insights, and market trends.
You’ll bring our brands to life across various communication channels, oversee consumer promotion initiatives, and guide the integrated planning process with your team’s support (1-2 direct reports). Collaborating with regional brand leaders and local sales units, you’ll refine our offerings and promotional activities to boost sales and profits throughout the UK and Ireland.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Brand Communication & Media:

  • Develop and monitor brand activation campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
  • Act as the main liaison between regional marketing, social media, and sales teams, using deep category and consumer insights to inform both short and long-term strategies.
  • Continuously monitor and track marketing initiatives against objectives, using key performance indicators to assess and optimise campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with the E-commerce team to ensure successful digital campaign execution and present innovative ideas to effectively reach target audiences.

Activation:

  • Execute brand communications in line with brand identity, including social media and consumer promotions.
  • Lead product launches, ensuring omni-channel execution and amplify market innovation through activation plans.
  • Manage the A&P budget, conducting ROI analysis and adapting strategies as necessary.

Trade Marketing:

  • Deliver trade commercialization plans, articulate business data, and collaborate with sales teams for channel strategies.
  • Plan range implementation and activities to drive sell-through, executing pricing objectives for key products.

Other:

  • Coach and develop team competencies, assist in recruiting, and establish clear objectives for team members.

 

 

What You’ll Need

Minimum:

  • University degree. An MBA is a plus.
  • Extensive marketing experience, including brand activation.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate marketing objectives into strategies and plans. Proven success in executing comprehensive marketing plans that are integrated across multiple consumer touchpoints, including at the point of purchase.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and working within a matrix organisation.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
