The Productivity Manager is responsible for advocating the lean approach throughout the organization and serves as the plant consultant for all productivity projects. This position is highly visible and will work with all levels of employees across the organization.  The key objective of the Productivity Manager is to drive, and financially track changes that will positively affect the bottom line of the company in a safe, efficient, cost-effective work environment. The Productivity Manager is responsible for developing Lean and Six Sigma training materials, facilitating training, implementing key business metrics, measuring performance, leading continuous improvement teams and driving change within the organization. The Productivity Manager will also lead our Lean Sigma Optimization continuous improvement team.

 

Skills and Abilities 

 

    • Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules required

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint and Outlook

Minimum Qualifications

 

    • Visual aptitude – must be able to see with or without correction
    • Communication – ability to communicate verbally or non-verbally
    • Must be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds
    • Ability to perform a standing job for 12 consecutive hours
    • Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach and grasp for varying periods of time during a consecutive 12-hour period

 

Education/Experience   

                   

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an Engineering discipline
    • 2-3 years LEAN work experience required
    • Consumer Products Industry Experience preferred
    • Six Sigma green or black belt preferred
