The Retail Media Jr Manager is responsible for the execution, optimization, and reporting of retail media campaigns across key eCommerce platforms, primarily Amazon and Mercado Libre.

This role ensures that paid media activations support commercial sell-out objectives by driving traffic, improving conversion, and maximizing return on ad spend (ROAS) during always-on and peak promotional periods.

The position operates within defined brand and commercial frameworks, translating strategy into disciplined campaign execution and continuous performance improvement.

This is a hands-on role for a performance-driven operator who thrives in data, platform tools, and execution excellence.


2. ROLE SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES

2.1 Campaign Execution & Optimization

  • Execute retail media campaigns across Amazon Advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, DSP where applicable) and Mercado Libre Publicidad.
  • Set up, launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns according to approved plans and budgets.
  • Adjust bids, budgets, targeting, and creative placements to improve ROAS, CPC, and conversion.
  • Ensure campaigns are live and fully operational ahead of key commercial events (Hot Sale, Buen Fin, Prime Day, etc.).
  • Monitor daily performance dashboards and proactively flag risks or underperformance.

2.2 Budget Tracking & Financial Discipline

  • Track retail media spend against allocated budgets.
  • Ensure accurate monthly reconciliation with Finance.
  • Monitor performance against ROAS and efficiency targets.
  • Recommend budget reallocations based on campaign performance.

2.3 Performance Reporting & Insights

  • Deliver weekly and monthly campaign performance reports.
  • Analyze retail media dashboards and translate results into actionable insights.
  • Track key metrics including ROAS, CPC, CTR, CPA, conversion rate, and attributed sales.
  • Support performance reviews with Brand Activation and eCommerce teams.

2.4 Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with eCommerce Sales to align campaigns with promotional calendars and category priorities.
  • Coordinate with content teams to ensure PDPs are optimized before media activation.
  • Work with creative agencies to deploy campaign assets on time and according to platform specifications.
  • Support retail partner interactions related to campaign execution and reporting.

2.5 Continuous Improvement

  • Implement A/B testing on keywords, audiences, and creatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve campaign structure and targeting.
  • Stay current on platform updates and retail media best practices.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the Mexico retail media workflow.

3. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

  • ROAS achievement vs target by platform and brand
  • Campaign launch timeliness (100% on schedule)
  • Budget accuracy and spend reconciliation within ±5%
  • Month-over-month improvement in CPC and CPA efficiency
  • Attributed revenue vs activation target
  • Reporting accuracy and on-time delivery
  • Platform compliance and zero operational errors

4. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.

Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in digital marketing, paid media, or performance marketing.
  • At least 2–3 years hands-on experience in retail media (Amazon Advertising and/or Mercado Libre Publicidad).
  • Demonstrated experience executing and optimizing paid search/display campaigns.
  • Experience managing media budgets and performance reporting.
  • Experience in FMCG, CPG, or consumer goods preferred.

5. TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Amazon Advertising Console and Mercado Libre Publicidad.
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, performance tracking, reporting).
  • Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Understanding of eCommerce fundamentals (PDP optimization, digital shelf basics).
  • Experience with retail media tools (Pacvue, Skai, Intentwise) is a plus.
