The SR Payroll Associate Payroll is accountable for LATAM (Chile, Mexico) support a los payroll processes, make support in the control and all payroll related processes as payment, benefits, taxes and accounting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on the timely delivery of all personal documents of new employees to be hired.
- Responsible for registering the new hires in the payroll system DAY FORCE in Mexico, generate the lay outs hire in IMSS, Mercer, SURA, Pluxee.
- Request the plastics of the new hires from the food vouchers vendor (PLUXEE) and deliver them to the employees, also follow up with the vendor Mercer to deliver to the employees their certificates of major medical expenses.
- Responsible for generating and delivering contracting documents to new hires for the creation of the physical and digital file in Mexico.
- Support for onboarding new hires to explain the benefits in Mexico.
- Collect and capture the payroll incidents in the payroll system DAY FORCE in Mexico (Vacations, vacation bonuses, commissions, bonuses, infonavit credits, salary and position changes, employee additions and terminations, discounts, etc.).
- Calculating and processing the Mexico payroll including benefits, discounts and taxes in accordance with Mexican laws and generating and sharing with the involved areas all reports and payroll files.
- Responsible for making contributions to the SURA Mexican pension plan and reviewing the correct dispersion of food vouchers from the monthly payroll.
- Responsible for generating payment tickets and their SAT stamping for the monthly payroll in Mexico.
- Capture in the Day Force System employee vacation days in Mexico for the control.
- Calculation of settlements and generation of documents, register employee exit on payroll system, generate and present employee exit archives in IMSS, Mercer, SURA, request settlement payment and generate payment ticket stamp SAT Mexico.
- Calculate and prepare IMSS payments (monthly SUA), INFONAVIT (Bimonthly Variables and SUA) and FONACOT.
- Support and collaborate in ensuring that general work conditions meet legal requirements in Mexico Attending PWC, WTW audits and IMSS opinions in Mexico.
- Support in request and delivery gifts to employees for marriage, newborns and back to school in Mexico.
- Preparation of special payrolls such as year end bonus, savings fund, annual bonuses, PTU, viatics, etc. in Mexico
- Prepare and send reports for month closing of the finance area in Mexico.
- Ensure together with my Supervisor the correct update in the payroll system of changes in legislation in Mexico (minimum salary, legal limits, tax tables, IMSS quotas, % of Occupational Risk Premiums, etc. in Mexico.
- Go together with my Supervisor to legal entities in Mexico (IMSS-INFONAVIT) to request clarifications and carry out administrative procedures in Mexico.
- Maintain constant communication to share and update data with payroll vendors and legal entities in Mexico (IMSS, INFONAVIT, MERCER, SURA, FIDUCIARIO BANAMEX, PLUXEE, ETC.)
- Support for reporting personal information of new hires to ITOS payroll supplier (Chile and México).
- Support and coordinate with the payroll vendor the social security registration of new hires and request inclusion in medical expenses and life insurance in Chile and México.
- Support for report the departure of employees to the payroll provider and request their settlement calculation, request the departure in security and social insurance.
- Collect and support in prepare file of payroll incidents to upload to the ITOS platform and report the payroll vendor. Chile and México.
- Support in prepare and report information for payment of special payrolls such as: Christmas bonus (Chile) payment in December.
- Follow-up with the areas involved (accounting and payroll vendor) for the monthly presentation of taxes and social charges.
- Coordinate to provide together with the payroll vendor the information requested for Payroll Audits in Chile and México.
- Ensure, twith the payroll vendor, the updating of the payroll system in accordance with the legislation in Chile and México.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Bussines Management, Accounting, or similar
- 3-6 years of experience in Payroll process, Social Security, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, LFT, Income Tax.
- Microsoft Office, SUA, IDSE, SIPARE, Day Force system (ideal)
- Advanced English
- Knowledge of Social Security MX Institute INFONAVIT, Mexican labor law, income tax law
