The Amazon Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the 1P relationship with this key account.  This role will implement merchandising execution and provide inputs on strategy across all segments, developing the positioning of different brands within Amazon. The ideal candidate should have eCommerce merchandising or retail media exposure with a blend of analytical and creative skills. This role requires partnerships with several cross-functional teams including, Marketing, Customer Marketing, Sales, Supply, and Planning teams to come up with new strategies for growth, profit and improve the eCommerce business.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales, improve sell out performance, and enhance customer satisfaction on Amazon.
  • Manage and optimize product listings, ensuring accurate and compelling descriptions, images, and pricing.
  • Coordinate digital content, Retail media campaigns, and activation plans in order to develop brand positioning and help achieve sell in and sell out goals
  • Monitor Amazon performance metrics, such as Shipped Revenue, Glance Views, conversion rates, Confirmation rates, and customer feedback, and take necessary actions to achieve performance targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to coordinate product launches, promotions, and inventory management
  • Assist in analyzing engagement and shopper data to contribute insights for refining merchandising strategies, with a focus on improving conversion rates and fostering repeat visitors
  • Build connections with Marketing, and Customer Marketing to support the strategic growth of the account
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular data analysis and generate actionable insights to improve marketplace performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Implement effective customer service practices to resolve inquiries, complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Assist with the channel sales and advertising forecast to achieve goals
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and tools related to online marketplaces and make recommendations improve the optimizations.
  • Familiarity with SEO and SEM principles and techniques for optimizing product listings.
  • Lead relationship with key partner digital agencies, focusing on advertising campaign optimization to maximize results and achieve targets

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing or Business oriented
  • Experience in eCommerce or Digital Marketing, ideally managing accounts (Amazon, Mercado Libre or similar)
  • Understanding of eCommerce channels, metrics and costumer journey.
  • Strong analytical focus and KPIs management.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across lines of business.
  • Ability to learn, understand and converse around key business issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and an understanding of where projects fit into overall Company and development strategies.
  • Demonstrated integrity and maturity, and a constructive approach to challenges.
  • Ability to operate independently given direction, and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised
  • Detail-oriented and operationally-focused.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing or Business Oriented
  • 2+ years experience in eCommerce or Digital Marketing working with Amazon
  • Proficient in MS Office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in SAP and Amazon Vendor Central
