Job Summary

This position performs inspections and maintenance of assigned fixtures and equipment. Position will also perform basic building maintenance.

Education:

Training in the Building Trades; light plumbing, light electrical, light carpentry all given considerations. On job experience always considered.

Essentials / Functions

· Education – Willing to take training in specialize areas.

· Must follow & enforce OHSA Safety Procedures. Must lead by example.

Expectations

· Perform basic building and grounds.

· General basic plumbing ie… faucet repair/replace, flush mechanism repair/replace, water lines, clear of drains, PM water coolers, etc.

· Perform basic electrical; replace bulbs, assist with other tasks.

· Maintain Environmental Area organization & cleanliness

· General Housekeeping

· PM; Eye Wash, Extinguishers, Coolers, Spill Containments, & Filters

· Painting as required.

· Winter associated duties; ice patrol, shovel,,etc

· Work well in a team environment and alone.

· Manage and complete related work assignments and duties as requested.

· OT as required; Holidays, Shutdowns, Emergency basis. On call.

Qualifications

· Must be in good standing in current position.

· Strong communication skills, both in writing and orally (English)

· Knowledge of safety in manufacturing environment and OSHA regulations.

· Highly organized with ability to change focus in fast paced environment.

· Lift Truck Certified or ability to obtain

· LOTO Certified or ability to obtain
