General Responsibility – Assist and support Shipping Specialist.

Job Duties/Essential Functions –

• Provide floor presence, policy and procedure enforcement
• Manage inventory errors and remove daily obstacles for the floor associates.
• Load/Unload/Stage pallets from QH trailers.
• Warehouse upkeep through SAP/PKMS and Gemba Walks
• Assist Quality/Production/Distribution as needed.
• Operate clamp and forklift (sit-down and stand-up) – 80% forklift usage.
• Coordinate inbound work schedule.
• Promote a positive and safe work environment, including driving 6S adherence & STOP&Think audits.
• Backup Team Lead as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements –

• Experience in distribution/logistics
• Physically able to bend, squat, twist, climb, reach, and lift to 35 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to stand up to 11 hours per shift
• Strong math skills
• Required to read & write in English
• Communicate well with others
• Able to follow written & verbal instructions
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Accuracy, attention to detail & organizational skills
• Team-oriented, self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Must have demonstrated leadership abilities
• Good work record with no attendance or disciplinary issues
• Must be able to effectively communicate with others
• PKMS and SAP experience preferred.
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and organization is critical
• Requires continual response to changing priorities based on shipping and production needs
