GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsible for housekeeping on the manufacturing floor and maintaining the oil reclaim area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Work within specified safety rules and procedures
• Help identify and resolve safety issues
• Clean oil / resin on the floor around the injection molding machines
• Maintain 5-s standards in the manufacturing area on machines, equipment, and work areas
• Assist in cleanup after mold changes
• Perform general tasks including but not limited to conveyors, auxiliary equipment, hydraulic oil leaks, lubricant levels and preventive maintenance
• Assist in Total Preventative Maintenance duties with the Operations Team Member
• Maintain housekeeping standards and 5-s in the oil reclaim area
• Assist facilities maintenance with reclaim/filtering of good used oil
• Other responsibilities as deemed necessary

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to maintain good relationships with team members and peers
• Must have good communication skills
• Must show strong safety awareness and good housekeeping skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must work well in a team environment
• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred
• Lift Truck experience preferred but not necessary

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

• Must successfully complete powered lift truck training
• Must successfully complete lock out/tag out training
