The PEAK & Productivity Manager will be responsible for driving the PEAK implementation and its use as an operating system in the Neosho Distribution Center. They will support the development and facilitation of a Continuous Improvement strategy to support business initiatives through the effective deployment of PEAK systems, capabilities, and methodology. In addition, they will lead the overall site productivity agenda, including building the productivity strategy, governance, and reporting, while building capability within the site team to drive results.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead site through implementation of PEAK phases using standard project management principles ensuring PEAK system owners build and track to implementation plans.
  • Build capability in and deploy PEAK systems to optimize value streams and work processes.
  • Build Continuous Improvement culture within the site.
  • Align CI initiatives with the overarching site master plan and PEAK implementation strategy using common CI tools (Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC problem solving methods, etc.).
  • Partner with, coach, and lead site team through the integration of CI methods and strategy.
  • Ensure CI, project management and PEAK tools are used to drive successful completion of site projects and initiatives.
  • Network with other organizational PEAK and productivity leaders to learn and share "Best Practices".
  • Lead site’s efforts to build and deliver productivity project funnel to achieve site productivity goals.
  • Lead site's Productivity Governance program to effectively manage the overall Productivity Agenda.
  • Support identification, facilitation, and tracking of site productivity projects.
  • Provide analytics and business intelligence to support project selection, root-cause analysis, project validation, etc.
  • Track and report out productivity results, updates, and strategy to key stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent degree.
  • 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing / distribution leadership role or in a Central Supply Chain type role with project and leadership experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a CI or process improvement role, with a proven track record of delivering measurable results.
  • Change management expertise, including experience leading organizational change initiatives and managing resistance.
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Experience leading large, cross-functional teams to achieve results.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Proficient in MS Office Products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
  • Proven ability to facilitate relations between Executive Leadership, Business Units and Supply Chain stakeholders.
  • Highly effective organization and planning skills required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Working knowledge of common distribution systems and processes.
  • Ability to serve in both Team Leadership and Team Member roles.
  • Creative, reliable, organized, adaptable, flexible, innovative, and a self-starter.
  • Focus on adding value to a fast and performance driven business.
  • Must complete all OSHA required training.
  • Must successfully pass post-offer screening and review of background.
  • Role requires up to 10% travel for trainings, summits, etc.
