Position Title: Order Processor
Department: Operations – GSC
Reports to: Shift Supervisor
Band/Grade: 00
Shift: Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm

The Order Processor is responsible for processing orders through various areas in a manner that meets company standards for safety, quality, productivity, and accuracy but does not require operation of a powered industrial vehicle.

Position Detail – Responsibilities

•Demonstrate accurate and efficient experience conducting inventory transactions and meet daily production requirements
•Use a radio frequency (RF) scanner/hand-held gun and computer to pick and verify items for selection
•Analyze and troubleshoot problems and resolve them such as shortages, quality checks, and correct quantity
•Pack box of items and stack boxes on pallets properly
•Maintain safe work environment by being aware of surroundings; following standards and procedures; complying with operating policies and regulations
•Wear all required safety PPE and operate all work duties in a safe manner following proper procedures
•Take individual responsibility in keeping work area organized and clean
•Meet position’s daily production requirements

Position Detail – Key Qualifications

•High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
•Ability to work well in team environment
•Ability to read, write and perform basic math skills with strong attention to detail including speed and accuracy in counting and verification
•Must be able to work overtime when the business needs require it
•Considerable physical effort lifting and moving material or objects that are average weight continuously and heavy weight material or objects frequently
•Ability to move inside warehouse and remain in stationary position up to 10 – 12 hours
•Bend, stretch, and reach low and high places frequently
•Operate buttons on computer, and RF guns
•Ascend/descend 2 step ladder that crosses over conveyor
•Move light weight objects or material overhead occasionally
•Ability to work in high places of 35-40 ft. and look up to high places by bending neck
•Pass eye exam if required to operate machinery
•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
