SHIFT: Mon-Fri, 2p-10p

This position is responsible for performing basic yard driver and dispatcher responsibilities in a manner that meets company standards for safety, quality, productivity and accuracy.

Position Detail – Responsibilities

Learn and perform yard driver duties including but not limited to:

• Docking and moving trailers on the yard, to and from doors.
• Perform yard audits on a daily basis to ensure compliance with FTZ Regulations.
• Seal and unseal trailers as necessary in the yard.
• Validate data entered into YMS for each trailer, when performing a move or an audit, is accurate.
• Report any and all trailer discrepancies and trailer damages to the Logistics team.
• Maintain safe work environment by watching out for traffic in the yard, to include but not limited to foot traffic, golf carts, contractor’s vehicles; following standards and procedures; complying with operating policies and regulations
• Wear all required safety PPE and operate all work duties in a safe manner following proper procedures
• Take individual responsibility in keeping work area organized and clean

Position Detail – Key Qualifications

• Ability to work well in team environment; flexibility to work in a variety of areas.
• Ability to read and write in English in order to use systems.
• HS Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 6 months of relevant experience
• Ability to walk long distances and stand on feet all day
• Able to bend, stretch, and reach low and high places frequently
• Operate a computer, table, and RF guns
• Lift light weight objects or material overhead occasionally
• Pass eye test
