EHS Manager (8-month fixed-term contract)

As the EHS Manager for Manufacturing & D&T for Brazil, Argentina and Colombia you will coordinate, deploy and implement EHS Strategy in LATAM for 1 production site & 4 D&T warehouses, building together with D&T Managers a robust EHS Culture, ensuring zero injuries and illnesses, zero negative impacts to the environment and the correct compliance with the company's and country regulations, industrial standards, and global and policy standards. Ensure business continuity and risk prevention in terms of EHS.

Responsibilities

• Develop local EHS resources through training, coaching, and international networking.
• Create and implement strategies to improve EHS performance, defining required resources.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess EHS compliance and ensure adherence to corporate and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate development of EHS materials (Portuguese/Spanish) aligned with corporate guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with FM Mutual, environmental standards, SEAL guidelines, and reporting requirements.
• Support BCP and ERP program development across sites.
• Develop and implement EHS programs, standards, and risk prevention tools (JSA, audits, risk assessments, work permits, ergonomics plans).
• Lead EHS training strategy execution and Management of Change processes impacting Safety, Health, and Environment.
• Oversee EHS-related contracts, budgeting, purchasing processes, and savings delivery.
• Track EHS KPIs, drive productivity projects, and partner with operations to minimize operational risks.

Qualifications 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree
• English or Spanish: Able to write, speak and read - Advanced to fluent level
• Experienced in Safety & Environmental area
• Knowledge of LATAM legislation; OSHA/EPA regulations understanding; Continuous Improvement; Environmental, Health and Safety management system implementation
• Office; Power BI
• Availability to travel 40-60% of the time
• Availability to fixed-term contract  of 8 months, based on Pouso Alegre, MG or Balneário Piçarras, SC.
