Your Role & Team in a Nutshell

The Warehouse Manager will manage warehouse with around 20 employees (16 direct and 4 indirect) and size of 3100sqm and support all warehouse activities, with a focus on maximizing utilization, labour and resources.


This includes managing the flow of freight, materials and finished goods between warehouse and other operations department; seeing that internal customers' requirements are met and transactions are done in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner; supports plant improvement initiatives and goals; maintains 6S standards and SEAL program as well as PEAK. Manages all warehouse functions and processes, maintaining accurate inventories and directing storage on-site.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Works with the team to set goals, establish priorities, and develop action plans to achieve these goals, while closely collaborating with Supervisor, Admin Team Leader, and Team Leaders to build strong relationships and foster teamwork.
  • Support and sustain other departments in Newell organization.
  • Quality control: be site ultimate decision maker in case of quality issues (inbound, outbound, returns)
  • Workload Planning support: close work on the daily planning and order book scheduling of the PO, STO & SO; also to present a longer time horizon on peak seasons and special events & activities
  • Productivity Projects: continuously scan floor operation to identify productivity opportunities; give idea and show improvement opportunities.
  • Encourage proactive safety behaviors.
Qualifications 
 

Minimum

  •  5+ years of experience in Warehouse management.
  • Fluent in English 
  • Manage across multiple shifts of employees.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, written & verbal
  • Demonstrated ability, to plan, organize and follow up 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to teach and mentor others in these techniques.
  •
