Demand Planner – Rubbermaid Commercial Products

Location: Poznan, PL or Manchester area (Cheadle), UK

Reports to: Demand Planning Manager Kitchen & RCP

Contract type: Permanent

Your Role & Team in a Nutshell

As a Demand Planner, you will prepare and manage sales forecasts for the Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP) business across EMEA. You will monitor market trends, analyse historical data and continuously improve forecasting processes, using statistical methods where appropriate to maintain accuracy. The goal is to maximise customer service levels while minimising excess inventory.

You will be part of a five-person team and work closely with Sales, Finance and Supply Planning. You will lead preDemand Review Meetings for key accounts, facilitate the monthly RCP Demand Review Meeting, and contribute to wider S&OP activities and projects.

We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the sales forecast for European markets, channels and/or customers as required, providing an accurate monthly forecast on a rolling 12–18 month basis. Act as the main Demand Planning point of contact for country commercial teams.
  • Review monthly and quarterly sales forecasts with sales leaders and finance teams, highlighting risks, issues and opportunities, and identifying gaps between the demand plan and financial forecasts.
  • Validate forecasts submitted by the sales team by comparing them against run rates, historical trends, market dynamics and customer sellout data.
  • Collect volume forecasts for new product launches and carry out postlaunch analysis, sharing insights with commercial teams.
  • Work with sales and marketing colleagues to analyse sales trends and support customer discussions. Partner directly with selected key customers to improve visibility and planning, and jointly develop and agree forecast validation processes and review procedures.
  • Contribute to monthly Demand Review Meetings with sales, marketing and finance. Ensure the agreed demand plan at SKU level is approved and uploaded to the system before month end.
  • Support the SKU rationalisation process by identifying products for potential discontinuation and managing this alongside Supply Planning.
  • Lead the preDemand Review Meeting (preDRM) for the washroom category in North America demand, aligned with EMEA manufacturing.

What You’ll Need

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Supply Chain
  • Relevant experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Customer Collaboration, Material Planning or Distribution Planning
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot, VLOOKUP)
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a datadriven approach

Your advantage:

  • Experience with SAP, SAP APO, SAP IBP and Power BI
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multicultural teams, including senior stakeholders
  • Willingness to develop a strong understanding of S&OP processes in an international business environment, including demand and supply planning
  • Well organised, proactive and committed to delivering results
  • Positive and constructive attitude, with a collaborative approach
