Your Role in a Nutshell
In this role, the HR Operations & Payroll Specialist will manage key employee lifecycle processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across HR operations and payroll activities. The position is responsible for supporting end-to-end onboarding to enable seamless employee integration. Working closely with HR Shared Services, Payroll, and HRBP teams, the role will also provide administrative and operational support while contributing to various HR projects and initiatives.
Our portfolio of products is very diverse - from stationery to small household appliances. You might have heard of some of our brands like Parker, Waterman, Yankee Candle, NUK, or Crockpot.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and coordinate the onboarding of new hires including preparing the employment offer letters, contract and all necessary documents and planning welcome sessions.
- Ensure the management of personnel files, update HR databases and systems (Payroll & HRIS), and track absences.
- Validate and perform people data transactions related to job changes, name changes, promotions, transfers, offboarding and other updates in the global HRIS (HCM – Salesforce), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead transactional HR activities (tracking absences, transportation costs reimbursement, meal vouchers, health insurance enrollment, medical visits, etc.) and contribute to payroll preparation
- Ensure the data conformity between global HRIS (HCM- Salesforce) and payroll.
- Provide daily support to employees for HR-related queries, such as leave requests, information on internal policies, and administrative procedures.
- Oversee and manage training plan and associated reporting in relation to managers, employees, suppliers and collection organism (OPCO)
- Ensure compliance with local legislation (labor code, collective agreement), as well as internal administrative policies and HR procedures.
- Contribute to projects to optimize processes and ways of working
What You’ll Need:
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of work experience in Shared HR service or in an HR department in a matrix organization, focused on HR Operations and Payroll.
- Proficiency in French and English
- good knowledge of France labor law and HR policies
