Your Role in a Nutshell
As a Senior Planning Analyst, you will turn complex planning data into clear insights that improve decision-making across a fast-paced global supply chain. Working with regional and global stakeholders, you will support S&OP processes, strengthen planning performance, simplify reporting, and use analytics, automation and approved AI-enabled tools to drive faster, data-led decisions.
- Analyze planning data, trends and metrics to support S&OP decisions and improve planning outcomes.
- Partner with stakeholders to build reports, dashboards and clear recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, harmonise and improve planning processes.
- Prepare regional S&OP materials and accurate inputs for global reporting.
- Use analytics, automation and approved AI-enabled tools to spot risks earlier and reduce manual effort.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by providing planning insights that drive operational excellence.
- Analyze demand and supply planning performance, identify root causes of exceptions, and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain performance reports and dashboards using Power BI, Power Query, Excel, and SAP reporting tools.
- Automate recurring reports and reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Drive the adoption of AI-enabled tools to enhance reporting, identify exceptions earlier, and improve data quality.
- Interpret planning trends, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to support business decisions.
- Build planning scenarios and assess their potential business impact to support decision-making.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement standardized solutions to enhance planning performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across regional and global markets to deliver planning insights.
- Train and support teams on reporting tools, dashboards, and planning reporting processes.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, practical, and business-focused recommendations.
- Validate AI-generated insights against source data, business rules, and planning assumptions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
What You’ll Need:
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or a related discipline.
- Candidates with relevant planning, analytics or supply chain experience are encouraged to apply; senior experience is preferred for candidates at the higher end of the range.
- Experience as a planning analyst, business analyst, supply planner or demand planner.
- Strong proficiency in advanced Excel and data visualisation tools, including Power BI.
- Working knowledge of approved AI tools and automation techniques to support analysis, reporting and process improvement.
Your Advantage:
- Master’s degree in supply chain management or a related discipline
- SAP APO and SAP IBP experience.
- Experience using Analysis for Office.
